HIV DART 2020

Virtual Meeting / 10 December 2020

Dear Colleagues,

The focus of HIV DART 2020 is to assemble clinicians, medical professionals, nurses, researchers and basic scientists together to advance our knowledge of the ongoing drug development processes in the treatment and cure of HIV and co-morbidities. This year's meeting will be held virtually on December 10, 2020. We believe that the virtual format will provide a highly invigorating and accessible platform for the scientific community to engage with their peers and learn about the latest advancements in this arena. Antiretroviral drug development against HIV has seen many successes over the past three decades. However, despite the approval of over 25 drugs for the treatment of HIV infection, many barriers still remain unresolved. This year, we plan to address advancements in antiretroviral therapy, long-acting formulations, and neurocognitive complications of HIV infection. Strong emphasis will be placed on HIV cure strategies and the latest pre-clinical and clinical discoveries in this arena. Through participation in this three-day event, delegates will be able to attend invited lectures by world-renowned leaders, participate in several interactive panel discussions and take advantage of key networking opportunities included in the program.

This year we have the pleasure to honor Dr. Robert Gallo and Mr. Jon Cohen with distinguished lecture awards in recognition of their important contributions to the field of HIV research over the past several decades. We hope to see you in December in sunny Los Cabos, or online, as we aim to make the program available in real-time through the conference website.
