Respi-DART 2022 will be held on December 3-5, 2024 at the HAcienda del Mar, Los Cabos, Mexico.

Through mediating rigorous discussions, data sharing, and community building, Respi-DART 2024 aims to bring together key opinion leaders and identify major clinical and scientific roadblocks, thus paving the way for game-changing scientific advancements. Respi-DART 2024 will focus on topics such as epidemiology and diagnosis, virus-host interactions, virus enzymology, vaccine and immunology, small molecule development, drug resistance and virus evolution. Emphasis will be placed on sharing the latest clinical data for several small molecules currently being tested in humans. Novel drug targets and mechanisms of action will also be heavily explored. Ultimately, Respi DART 2022 aims to bridge the gap between the latest scientific developments and real-world clinical needs.

Topics of interest include:

•Epidemiology, screening, and diagnosis of all respiratory viruses

•Drug discovery, development, modeling and structural biology

•Pre-clinical and clinical evaluation of novel therapeutics in development against respiratory viruses such as SARS-CoV-2. influenza virus, RSV, parainfluenza virus, and metapneumovirus

•Long COVID-19

•Respiratory virus enzymology, host-virus interactions and virus replication

•Immunology and vaccine development

•Impact of variant emergence on therapeutics, vaccines and epidemiology

•Drug resistance, vaccine resistance, and viral evolution

•Novel assay and animal model development

•Viral infections and respiratory diseases in adults and pediatric populations

The program will be planned and implemented in accordance with the Essentials and Standards of the ACCME. Emory University School of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical and will award AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM to physicians who complete this program. In the development and presentation of the program, Emory University School of Medicine will adhere to all rules, regulations and guidelines of the ACCME, AMA, AAMC, FDA and OIG that govern the conduct of accredited CME activities. All scientific materials presented will be objective and show fair balance as to the range of diagnostic and therapeutic modalities.
