DART series conferences were first launched in 1995 to address unmet needs in antiviral drug therapeutics and vaccine development for important viral diseases such as HIV, hepatitis C and hepatitis B. Over the years, DART conferences have evolved to reflect the fast-paced and ever-changing landscape of global disease burdens, new therapeutic strategies and access to care. HIV-DART 2024 will bring a sharp focus on strategies for HIV cure, and advances in long-acting formulations. The meeting will also focus on new advances in treatment against emerging diseases such as dengue, chikungunya, yellow fever and zika.
In 2018, Respi-DART was added to the DART meeting series in response to a growing need to face the challenges imposed by respiratory diseases such as RSV, influenza, and most recently SARS-CoV-2.
HIV-DART and Respi-DART are scheduled to take place back-to-back with registration discounts available to delegates who are interested in participating in both meetings. The meetings are scheduled to take place in-person.

The program will be planned and implemented in accordance with the Essentials and Standards of the ACCME. Emory University School of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical and will award AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM to physicians who complete this program. All scientific materials presented will be objective and show fair balance as to the range of diagnostic and therapeutic modalities.
